Privacy Policy

At River City Music , we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. You can read more about our privacy policy below.
What Information Do We Collect And Why:
While creating an account, we ask for your name, address, phone number, and email address. Your email address becomes your account username and we also ask that you create your own password for your account so that you get to play a part in protecting your information. This information is used to help process your order, to contact you when needed, and to include you in any special River City Music contests or offers that you may enter or be eligible for.
When checking out, we also ask for your credit card information and expiration date. This is so that we can collect payment for your order and any applicable shipping charges. The amount that your credit card will be charged is shown when you check out. When you check out, your information is also entered into our Point of Sale computer system server which is where your invoice is actually processed. This is the same server that processes information when a purchase is made in-store.
When signing up for C2B, we ask for your River City Music account number. This is the number that already exists for you within our POS system for your account. This helps us to ensure we are providing access to the correct account and to the right person.
When shipping via school drop off, we do ask for the name of the School so that we can process your request and deliver the item appropriately.
What does River City Music do to protect my information?
Your information and payments are secured by 128/256 Bit Strong SSL Encryption. You can get more information regarding this on our Security Policy page.

Even without a cookie, you can still use most of the features in our store, including placing items in your shopping cart and purchasing them.
Will you disclose or sell my information to parties outside of River City Music?
River City Music  never gives out or sells your personal information to any 3rd party without your prior authorization except in situations where we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of River City Music, our users, or others.
Can I change my information?
River City Music provides customers with the ability to update and change their online account information at any time, but your information must be accurate to properly process any requests you may have.
